Parking Restricted at the Ends of the Hangars
Dayton Airport Authority has asked that pilots refrain from parking their vehicles on the grass at the end of the hangars nearest to the taxiways.
(My guess is, because I have personally seen some, that there have been some large aircraft taxing lately and their wingspans can barely make it by the hangars.  - Tom)

Schedule Master  Slated to go Online November 1, 2003
Schedule Master,  Online Aircraft Scheduling, is slated to go online November 1st.  Everyone's account has been entered into the system, but no accounts have been activated yet.  Once Kevin Chandler finishes some setup and confirmation activities, the accounts will be activated.  If you would like to try your account now, please send  Kevin an email or give him a call.  Also, there is a good chance Kevin will be having a show and tell demo after the October Membership meeting.  Don't miss out as this will be a good chance to see and ask questions.

                                                      N64545 Sold??
As of this writing, two good offers had been made on N64545 and it is likely that it will have been sold by the time the October Membership meeting convenes on the 17th.  I cannot go into details, but one offer came from the south east US while the other is from the mid east coast.  See you at the October Membership meeting to find out if it sold.

From the Editor...

Hangar Lighting
Winter is coming and that means shorter days and longer nights.  It also means there will be more night flying by our members.  I have taken on the task of looking into replacing, or adding to, the existing lighting in our hangars.  As I mentioned earlier this year, this will make the hangars safer for our planes.  It also makes it much easier to see what we are doing when they are dark.  Soon, I will be taking a hard look at our hangars and the looking for some solutions that will fit DPC needs without breaking the pocketbook.  If you are interested, please let me know.  - Tom
